Waihi Beach – worth the trip
9km of golden sand, great surf, a genuine small-town feel, and some of the best fish and chips in the Coromandel. The Orokawa Bay coastal track starts ten minutes from the door, Karangahake Gorge is just a hop, skip and jump, and Cathedral Cover is under an hour’s drive. Learn more about the area.
