Join us for a 5 course degustation dinner and wine pairing with guided tasting and storytelling by Valli winemaker Jen Parr. Our bespoke menu is created by fine dining Chef Fraser McCarthy from award-winning restaurant Lillius and it's beautifully luxe interiors are our setting.

Here at One Fyfe we are serious fans of Valli wines so we are thrilled to be partnering with them to bring you this very special evening. Established in 1998 by pioneering winemaker Grant Taylor, Valli aims to create true representations of Otago’s sub-regions with unflinching intensity and purity. This was a first for the region – no one had attempted to capture, let alone master the developing sub-regional plot that has now begun to unfold as the next exciting chapter in the Otago wine story.

Jen has been with Valli since 2015 and has been awarded a string of trophies and gold medals including the highly coveted 2020 New Zealand Winemaker of the year by Australasia’s leading wine magazine Gourmet Traveller WINE. Jen was one of six finalists for the prestigious title last year as well. The only person to have been nominated as a finalist two years in a row!

Jen loves to share her tremendous passion for wine and winemaking, teaching others about wine and its endless potential for enjoyment. She is an accomplished Wine Judge and is very active in the local wine industry, having served twice as the Chairperson for our Central Otago Pinot Noir Celebration.

The Need-to-Knows:
- This event is strictly limited and tickets must be purchased in advance to secure your place. No walk-ins can be accepted on the night.
- Guests must be aged 18+ You will be asked for proof of age as part of the booking process and are required to bring ID to the dinner.
- The event will be held in alert levels 1 and 2 and postponed if Auckland is in level 3 or 4 on the date of the event.
